Frozen Chocolate & Fruit Nuggets

Perfect snack and easy to make. Use leftover chocolate chips from baking and some yogurt for this refreshing frozen fruit snack. This can be made a multitude of ways.

Ingredients:

Mixed berries, ie cherries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, frozen

1 cup Greek yogurt, plain

½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil

*the amount of toppings can be adjusted based on amount of fruit

Steps:

Line a Tupperware with parchment paper. Place yogurt in a bowl. Dip each frozen piece of fruit in the yogurt, Swirl it around so that all sides are covered with a healthy amount. Place the yogurt covered fruit in the Tupperware. Repeat with all of the frozen fruit. Place in freezer for 1 hour.

Meanwhile, place your chocolate chips & coconut oil in the microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds at a time. Stir, repeat 30 seconds until the chips are melted. 

Once the yogurt is frozen on the fruit, remove from freezer. Dip each piece into the melted chocolate until it is fully covered. Place back in fridge for about 30 minutes.

Take the fruit out about 5 minutes prior to eating.
