Soft Pretzel Bites

Super easy snack made even easier using store-bought pizza dough. Flaky sea salt adds the perfect crunch to each bite.

Ingredients:

1 package store bought pizza dough

ΒΌ cup baking soda

1 egg, beaten,

Flaky salt, such as Maldon

Steps:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees & line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Break apart pizza dough and roll into 1” balls. Set aside.

Bring a pot of water to a boil and pour in baking soda. Reduce to rolling boil. Drop rolled balls of dough into the water & when they rise to the surface, remove from water and place on parchment lined baking sheet.  About 30 seconds for the dough balls to rise.

Brush the tops of the dough with the egg and sprinkle with the flaky salt. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until until a deep brown.

Serve warm with a dipping sauce, such as cheese or mustard.
