BLT Sandwich

Simple & easy BLT perfect for any time of the day. The thickness of the bacon is the key to this sandwich.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices sourdough bread

  • 1 heirloom tomato, sliced

  • 4 slices of the thickest bacon you can find, cooked

  • 1 head butter lettuce

  • 2 tablespoons homemade mayo

Steps:

Set your oven to broil, and place bread slices on a baking sheet. Place in oven for 2-3 minutes then flip. Return to the oven for another 2-3 minutes until light golden brown.

Smother one side of the bread with mayo, then stack with 2 pieces of bacon, 2-3 slices of tomato, and several leaves of lettuce. Cut in half and enjoy.
